Working with tabs and cards
In TOPdesk you work with tabs, letting you easily navigate to the information you need. E.g. when you click on a number in the Tasks block, an overview of these activities will open on a new tab; or when you double-click on a card in an overview, this card will also open on a new tab. You can open several tabs at once and easily switch between them.

A. Home tab
The Home tab is always open to the left of the opened cards. Here you can find the Get Started, Tasks, Tasks per Group, Selections, Reports and Shortcuts, Main pages, Report/KPI, Conversations, Major calls, and Web widget widgets.
B. Tabs
The same card is never opened twice. If you open a card from an overview that has already been opened, the tab with that card will appear.
If the number of tabs open exceeds the space allowed by your browser, arrows will appear at the top of the page that let you scroll through the tabs.
remark
You can open up to ten tabs. If you already have ten tabs open and open another tab, the tab that has been unused for the longest time will close automatically.
C. List of open tabs
If you have many tabs open, you can view a list of all open tabs under the
icon. This gives you immediate access to the tab that you need.
In the menu under the
icon you will also see:
D. Recently viewed cards
You can find and reopen recently closed tabs using the
Recently viewed cards option. TOPdesk remembers the last 30 closed cards.
E. Close other tabs
The
Close other tabs option closes all tabs except the tab that you are viewing (and the Home tab).
F. Close all tabs
The
Close all tabs option closes all tabs. Only your Home tab will remain open.
