Importing data into TOPdesk
You can import various data into TOPdesk: from staff and relationship management data to information about your assets and the databases of other software packages. The following options are available:
Standard imports: You can use standard imports to easily import certain details, such as information about branches, persons, hardware and software. Standard imports are executed manually.
Asset Management import and Supporting Files import: Both come with an import wizard. Use the import wizard to easily create imports. Import assets, persons, operators, branches, and locations from a file, a database, or Microsoft Entra ID. Execute the imports manually or automatically.
Customized imports: TOPdesk Consultancy or Support can create customized import scripts. In the customized imports settings you can manage specific settings of these imports. Customized imports can be set to execute automatically, e.g. every week or every day.
